Is it really free? What's the catch?
No catch. The whole tool is free — unlimited change orders, projects, photos, e-signatures, branding — forever. No credit card, no trial countdown, no paid tier to upgrade to. We're a working builder's company and we built this to be genuinely useful.
Do I need a credit card to start?
Never. We don't ask for a card at signup or at any point after. The only thing we ask for is an email, so we can keep your account and your change orders safe.
Will it stay free, or is this a trial that flips to paid?
It stays free. There's no trial clock and no plan that kicks in later. If we ever build genuinely advanced paid add-ons down the track, the core change order workflow you use today stays free.
Is there a limit on how many change orders I can create?
No monthly cap on creating change orders. To keep the email channel clean for everyone, brand-new accounts have a small daily send limit that rises automatically as you build a normal sending history — a real contractor never hits it.
How do you make money if it's free?
Right now we don't — and that's fine. We'd rather a large number of builders use a genuinely great free tool than charge a handful for a mediocre one. If we add paid power-features later, they'll be exactly that: optional extras, not a wall around what you already use.
Is my data mine? Can I export it?
Yes. Your change orders and your data belong to you. You can export to CSV any time, and we don't delete your work. Free doesn't mean disposable.
Is the signature legally binding?
Yes. We use compliant electronic signature standards (ESIGN Act in the US). Every signature carries a full audit trail — when the email was opened, when the portal was viewed, when they signed, and from what IP address. Dispute-defensible.
I run a multi-crew operation — can my team use it?
Each account is a single user today. If you need multiple users, get in touch and we'll work something out.
